I have just received the news that I will not to see my teacher again, as I was hoping to do - back in Germany.
All my thoughts are going out to his family.
I was hoping and wishing so much, to see him again. This wish is not going to come true in this life.
Mr. Wolfgang Becker, founder of the "Wiesbadener Freie Kunstschule", passed away the last weekend in November in the age of 78.
I am now with the memory of the person who tought me and many others "to see" if you learn to do three things: 1) Forget about what you have been tought to see, 2) Stay Focused and 3) Practice.
He has founded his school in the year I was born and touched me as many of my generation with his strong will power, his vision and his fun loving nature. With Love I will be thinking of him. Antje

Hallo Michael,
das ist eine traurige Nachricht - mein herzliches Beileid! Ich habe viel von deinem Vater gelernt, er war mein schlimmster Kritiker, aber auch meine Tür in die Welt der Kunst. Ein Mensch, den ich sicher nie vergessen werde, er hat mir viel beigebracht und gezeigt, unter welchen Aspekten man ein Bild betrachtet und somit meinen Horizont um so viel mehr erweitert. Ich denke so oft an ihn, wenn ich im Museum stehe und ein Bild betrachte.
